Sims 2 mini addons rapidshare

Post back and lemme know. I will install sims 2 again when I have time in the next day or 2, will use daemon and see if I get any problems with the latest version of the game. If so I can post some work arounds if I find any. It was the fault of daemon, I had the old version. I've reinstalled sims2, installed new daemon, and everything is clear! I would email them to find out, but im sure they could replace damaged discs at a low price. Even though the "my disk was damaged" excuse is getting pretty lame, I'll give them the benefit of doubt. If the game IS already installed, by following the step-by-step guide you'll get the game running with no CDs at all. However, games don't install without the originals, so you should contact EA with proof of purchase and your serial, as Crypton said, and you will get your replacements.

Windows XP Sims2. ISO Sims2. It works fine. I've got not idea why though. I've tried cracking it again, uninstalling it and reinstalling it on the account which it doesn't work on, same problem. I tried giving the account full adminstrative rights, same problem.

Can anyone help?! I know you said you tried reinstalling it, but have you tried reinstalling it on the account that is having the problem? Also, you might want to clear your temp files before trying on another user account. Such as Messenger programs, ect..

Here is another way to delete files in the temp folder Note this is a batch file I have created. To ensure that all temp files get removed. By default Windows XP creates a personal temp folder for each account unless you manually change the system variables to have only 1 temp location.

If you do not want my bat file, here is what to put in your own: Command to put in. What this does is deletes any temporary files in your Windows temp folder, inlcuding any temp folders that are in there as well.

Any files that are "in use" will not be deleted as they are write protected, but you can run this after a clean boot and close any programs that startup when ou start windows and it should delete everything in the temp folder. A full temp folder can cause conflicts such as you mentioned, but not always the case. Worth a try, let us know.

Now all user accounts will share the same Temp folder and any installs done will be temp shared in the same location as well. I have searched through this page, and I don't think anyone has my same problem.

I am installing Sims 2 on a pc running windows 64 bit. I am using filedisk to and winimage to mount the 4 cd's. It installs with no problems. Then I go to mount the mini image. Filedisk will mount a MDF file but not the mds. Either way this disk shows up under my computer. I have tried everything I can think of, but still no luck.

I once tried the patch as well as the cd I'm not sure what to do, any ideas or thoughts would be great! The problem you are having is your not able to "Emulate" the games protection.

As of now, there is not much support for 64bit platforms, however, the guys who develope Daemon-Tools are working on a 64bit version of their software.

My suggestion is to hold tight till then. And as always, there is the classic solution of holding tight to your original CD4 to play the game.

I don't trust Money's fix anymore anyway. And as for an alternative bit OS if you have 1. I've found them way less memory-consumptive and more secure than any other version, and that just after following a very helpful Security Wizard.

I bought it six months ago and have since stopped playing it, but I felt a little tempeted to play it again. I have to say, that this game has probably the most nerve-ending installation issues. When I bought it, it took me at an average of 3 hours trying to get it to install. It allways had completly different problems.

But somehow a miracle happened and once it came through without errors and finally, It had granted me a few weeks of playing. Since I've stopped playing it, I have reformated my hard drive and have forgotten all about it.

But now, it's all over again. Only this time, a more precise problem has appered. I can't return the game now, since it's been two long. I had nothing to lose, I mounted the image and the other CDs to try installing it. And, well, the other CDs apparently went on strike. I doesn't even get to CD3, it is again stopping at completly random spots. So, if anyone knows what the hell is going on, could you please have mercy and tell me?

Not sure what to tell you on that one, seems the disc is in fact damaged, however.. There is a solution. Most game stores and major shopping centers that contain an electronics section have them. The product finely sands the surface of the cd using a mixture of solutions and a wheel that contains very fine sand paper along it. It can repair some pretty nasty scratches and get you running again. It is worth getting however as it can save you tons of headache. And for the user reviews, don't listen to the idiots bad mouthing it.

Truth is, if used correctly as per instructions and you dont sit their grinding away your cd more than instructed, you should have no problems even on the thinnest cheapest of cd media.

Trust me on that, I have used mine to the point where I need a new one because the cd disc platform teeth that hold the cd in place have worn and the cd's flop around on mine. Anyways, ill get a new one eventually, but I highly recommend it and if you get one, read the instructions, dont just go grinding away without knowing what your doin to your cd.

The "Video Drivers" I usually throw in because alot of people will use the drivers that came on CD with their card and usually are outdated by the time the card is released to public. The blurry line effect can be caused by conflict with the emulation drive, a reinstall of the virtual drive software such as daemon-tools and installing updated drivers for the system such as video sound ect..

I would suggest contacting EA about that, we really cannot help with that issue. Seems more or less something EA Techincal Support would need to answer. And moved this to the correct location on the site. I installed my game last week, and forgot my cds in my house I'm on vacation in a different city. With out knowing there isn't a working fix for the game, copy and pasted a fix over my original application file. I then found out the fix doesn't work correctly, and learned of using images.

I think my computer can handle it…. Should I just lower resolution or is there a way to scale the UI and make it bigger? I know Clean UI did some bigger fonts in places but like the catalog and sim bin for example are tiny at this resolution.

This is the way the mod is designed. Adult sims created in CAS are assumed to be average high school graduates so will be limited to level 5. If you use the batbox to give these sims college degrees, then they will get the level 10 limit just like other graduates. If I create a Sim that I think should have a career above level five, I give them a college degree using the batbox. Changing their high school grades will not change their ceiling a grade of A, B, or C results in the same level five limit.

The only thing that will change it is giving them a college degree. This mod allows Sims to work in ANY career up to level 5 without a degree. You may have another mod conflicting with this one if your Sims cannot take certain jobs from the noticeboard. But I think you are right, it might not have something to do with this mod but another mod that, when operated in conjunction with this mod, causes this issue. For the day setter mod how do you use it?

I am not sure how it would keep the ages in sync. It just allows you to change days. I use it when I move a Sim to a new house or move a family out. Because when you move a Sim to a new lot it is always Monday at AM. But if you moved them out and it was actually Wednesday, you can use the day setter to change the day to Wednesday. I hate ghosts! I would never recommend deleting urns or graves in the Sims 2 even with the mod.

They do but it takes time. Don Lothario had sex with a lot of women but he only loves couple of them in my games. And it makes sence. Poor Malcolm is constantly rejected sex by his own wife, Nina. I find so realistic. Sexual orientation actually matters with this mod. It basically allows pregnant sim to asdign father to the baby while not changing its genetics. I used it for Landgraabs Poor Malcolm thinks the baby is his, he has the memory and the baby is in his family tree.

Lots are installed differently than CC and mods. Instead, extract the package file to your desktop and double click it. Wait a minute or two and an installer will appear asking you if you want to install the lot. Now you should find the lot in your lots and houses bin. Those mods alone will not crash your game. They are well-known, stable mods. You can use the Hack Conflict Detection Utility to check for mod conflicts. Google it.
